About Us

Argyll Electrical Services is a family run firm operating within the Helensburgh and Lomond area of Argyll. The founder, Bill Barber, has had considerable experience in the Electro-technical industry, working in highly advanced fields of expertise such as fibre-optic and microwave telecommunications. However, he soon decided to start up Argyll Electrical Services and was soon joined by his son Niall who is being trained through the SJIB apprenticeship scheme. Niall won the apprentice of the year prize for James Watt College in Greenock and also won the West of Scotland heat, he will go on the final in Edinburgh in October, where he will compete against the heat winners from the North and East of Scotland.
